Save Tigers -- Know your Ecosystem

In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, I ask prayers for this world and the very existence of the earth after so much of turbulence in the environmentRajeev
Dear all,
It is now a real urgency that has made me act his way:::::::::--------------
Now in my last interaction I emphasised about what all might happen when TIGERS are kept on a delpleting trend. Now I would like 2 brief things about Ecosystem; wherein it is related to TIGERS as well. It is known and said that :-
 What is an Ecosystem?
Within all species, individuals interact with each other - feeding together, mating together, and living together. Some species have a pecking order as well, and each individual has a role to play within it.

Feeding on woodHowever, it is not only individuals within a species that interact. Different species of animals interact with each other all the time. For instance, animals eat other animals through their interactions in a food web. But plants are included in this web as well as they, too, are eaten by animals.

Different areas in the world house different ecosystems. For example, you won't find an elephant or a tropical rainforest in Alberta! The different world ecological units are called biomes and they each have different flora, fauna, landscapes and weather patterns. An ecosystem is not the same thing as a biome. A biome is a large unit that is home to many different ecosystems. Within Alberta, there are six different biomes that each have their own specific flora and fauna distribution. These regions are: Grassland, Parkland, Boreal Forest, Foothill, Rocky Mountain and the Canadian Shield, all indicated on the map of Alberta's Regions.

It's Not Easy Being Green!

Star-flowered SolomonYou might not think it, but the existence of plant life is integral to the continuity and development of most ecosystems. The term "plant" may include everything from small blades of grass to the biggest and oldest trees in the forest. The environment is made up of two kinds of matter: organic, and inorganic, and plants are the only link on the food chain that are capable of transferring inorganic chemicals into organic compounds for the consumption of other living things in the ecosystem. These nutrients are passed on through trophic levels in food webs. If plants did not transfer these materials, animals would not be able to gain the nutrients they need to survive.  Plants do this by extracting nutrients from the ground - nutrients that other organisms are not able to consume directly from the source.

Green Alder VegetationOrganisms that rely directly on inorganic material to gain their energy are called autotrophs, and the major autotrophs in most ecosystems are plants. The beings that rely on autotrophs to in turn to gain these organic nutrients are called heterotrophs. During the decomposition of any living being, the organic compounds are transferred back into inorganic chemicals, and can be processed again by plants.
Plants also provide the world with much-needed oxygen through a process called photosynthesis. Life on earth depends on oxygen, and without it, the majority of living things (humans included) would not be able to breathe!
Photosynthesis, the process by which green plants capture the sun's rays, is a complex process, but one that is essential for the continuance of life on earth. In essence, photosynthesis uses the energy in light to change water and carbon dioxide into glucose (a simple sugar), with oxygen - a gas that humans and other animals need in order to breathe - as a by-product.
Photosynthesis has other important results besides the release of oxygen into the atmosphere. For example, animals and humans need glucose for energy, but they are unable produce it themselves. So they depend on the plants they eat to produce it for them. Fossil fuels are also an ancient product of photosynthesis, and humans depend on them to run their cars and heat their homes. So without photosynthesis, the world would be a very different place!
We can summarise the above phenomenon digramatically as below:

AND that you all Know what is being done,
Trees are being cut down to meet the worldly needs by the human beings posing a danger of demolishing the homes to the  Tigers.
Disturbance to the Jungle has already been made. Equilibrium to the ecosystem is rattled. Please help co-operate plant ADDITIONAL trees, use recyclable items.........
Hope now without any further  illustrations you all will act sincerely!
Bye 4 now C U soon
